1. What is your favorite photo in the entire paper?
The soccer photo under the Boys soccer kick their game into high gear
1A. Why is this your favorite?
I like the originality of it, the way it displays the player
2. What is your least favorite photo in the entire paper?
The signing of the bulldog baseball players
2A. Why is this your least favorite?I found it uninteresting…
3. If you were a photographer on staff, which event/photo assignment would you have liked to do for this issue? You will need to look through the entire paper and see the topics covered and decide which one you think would have been fun.
I, once again, think the soccer photo is a really good photo! It was well taken, and a good action shot.
4. Overall, how would you rate the photography in this issue? What were the strong points and weak points.
I would say the photos were all well taken, and the only weak point was that some of the photos were uninteresting to the eye.
1. My favorite photo was the photo of Deborah Moreno singing for Son De Rey entitled First Session.
1A. This is my favorite because it shows how she is outside of school, and that is probably a critical part of the storytelling process.
1B. The Rule of Thirds is evident because Deborah is in the lower right of the image in the lower right rule of thirds location.
2. My least favorite photo is the picture of Jeremiah Gause who was presenting his science project in front of the judges.
2A. This is my least favorite because it is taken at an unconventional angle, which makes me uncomfortable about this photo.
3. Coincidentally, the science fair would have been cool to photograph because I an interested in science.
4. All right, because I could see that the photographers are going for new angles, with good or bad results. This shows a willingness for change, and it makes me optimistic for the future of the newspaper program here which I would like to join.
